Data collected on www.editionsdelatour.com is processed by EDLT Éditions de la Tour, a French simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU), share capital €200, Paris Trade and Companies Register no. 943 143 768, registered office 62 bis rue de la Tour, 75116 Paris, France. Given the size of the maison, no data protection officer has been appointed. Any question about your data can be sent directly to info@editionsdelatour.com.
What we collect
We collect only what the business needs. No sensitive data is processed.
First and last name, email address, delivery and billing address, and telephone number where the carrier requires one.
Purchase history, amounts, payment method used, shipment tracking, returns and exchanges, and exchanges with customer service.
Card details are entered directly with the payment provider. They never pass through our systems and are never stored by the maison.
IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referral source and interactions with the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Newsletter sign-up, back-in-stock alerts, customer reviews published with your first name, and messages sent through the contact form.

Who has access to your data
Your data is never sold or rented. It is accessible to the maison and, strictly as needed for their task, to the following providers, who act on our instructions:
Shopify, store hosting, order management, native analytics, newsletter and forms. Shopify Payments and PayPal, payment processing. La Poste and partner carriers, parcel delivery. Loox, collecting and publishing customer reviews. EcomSend, back-in-stock alerts. Google, audience measurement with Analytics, advertising measurement with Ads, and bot protection with reCAPTCHA. Meta, measurement and delivery of our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
Your data may also be disclosed to administrative or judicial authorities where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our providers are established outside the European Union, notably in Canada and the United States. Those transfers are covered either by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the standard contractual clauses it has adopted, supplemented where appropriate by additional technical measures.

Cookies and trackers
Cookies strictly necessary to run the site, such as the cart, security and language preference, are set without your consent because the service depends on them.
Analytics and advertising cookies, set on behalf of Google and Meta, are activated only after you consent through the banner shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from the same banner, with no effect on your browsing or your orders.
Trackers last no longer than thirteen months and your choice is stored for up to six months, after which we ask again. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies already set.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict processing, to object, and to data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time where processing relies on it, and issue instructions on what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to info@editionsdelatour.com or to 62 bis rue de la Tour, 75116 Paris, France. We reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt about who is making the request.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, or at www.cnil.fr.
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS and access to the store's administration is protected by strong authentication. Payments are handled by PCI DSS certified providers. We limit access to data to those who need it and keep no copies outside the tools named in this policy.
Minors
Our products and communications are intended for adults. This site is not directed at children under fifteen and we do not knowingly collect their data. Should such data reach us, it would be deleted on notification.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect technical or regulatory changes. The version that applies is the one published on this page, with the update date shown below. Any substantial change will be signalled by appropriate means.
